All Things Small and Green announces the launch of the Imperial College Centre for Structural Biology grove

All Things Small and Green announces the launch of the ISMB grove, the grove of the Institute of Structural and Molecular Biology at UCL and Birkbeck

All Things Small and Green announces the launch of the University College London grove. With this grove, UCL academics and staff will be able to offset their carbon emissions by planting trees in partnership with Trees for Life, a wonderful tree-planting organization aiming to restore the famed Caledonian forest in the Scottish Highlands.

The International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB) has set up its first grove of native trees, the ISCB grove, to offset carbon emissions caused by ISCB activities such as those emitted during the conferences, workshop or panel meetings that it organises.

Read about the Cognitive Science Society Grove. The CogSci grove provides an excellent exemple of groves created to offset carbon costs of conferences taking place online.

We have now created a “Groves Abroad” section to our web site. Our plan is to create groves abroad in various European countries where researchers, scientists and academics in these countries can offset their carbon emissions by planting native trees closer to home!
