Cotton buds or Q tips can be very damaging to the environment, notably the fauna in our oceans and lands. The problem is most have a plastic stem that does not degrade at all or easily. As a result, they pollute soils and waters. More tragically, they get stuck in animals internal organs and cause terrible damages. But there are solutions and this is one: biodegradable cotton buds.
