We have set up our first “Conference Grove”, the “BPE 2020 Grove”, a grove for the BPE 2020 conference which will take place in Leuven at the end of September. See at https://rega.kuleuven.be/bac/economou/bacterial-protein-export/2020 and go to “BPE 2020 thinks green”.
This offers a readily available and simple way for attendees to a conference to offset their carbon emissions incurred while travelling to the conference. The “BPE 2020 conference” will even provide 1 tree per PhD student attending.
So, if you organise a conference, set up a “Conference Grove” where participants to your conference will be able to offset their carbon emissions by adding trees to it. The grove will have the name of your conference. It will take us 5 min to set it up for you with our partner Trees For Life.
